Two bills with Senator Andre Jacque’s name attached are being praised by the Wisconsin EMS Association.
The bills known as Senate Bills 680 and 681 aim to expand worker’s compensation coverage of diagnosed PTSD for EMS providers.
The group also praised Assembly Bill 874, which would assist ambulance services with obtaining greater Medicaid reimbursement to close the gap on uncompensated costs.
Alan DeYoung, the Executive Director of the Wisconsin EMS Association, thanked Jacque, as well as fellow Senator Mary Felzkowski and Representatives Cody Horlacher, David Armstrong, and Amy Loudermilk for writing the bills, and the full Senate for unanimously approving the measures.
