The State of Wisconsin recently announced their distribution of $40.6 million as a part of their Common School Fund Distribution efforts, and Manitowoc County School Districts will be splitting over $500,000 of that.
More specifically, the Manitowoc Public School District will be getting $262,346 for their library, while Two Rivers gets $62,611.
Kiel is getting the next highest amount at just shy of $62,000, while Valders is slotted to receive over $43,000.
Mishicot, Reedsville, and Brillion will all be getting around $37,000, making the grand total just shy of $542,000 for the libraries in these school districts.
Sheboygan County Schools meanwhile are splitting just over $524,000 from the fund.
The $40.6 million figure is actually the highest amount ever distributed by the state for this fund.
