Owner/Operator Sonia Choi
“My pleasure!” The pleasantry uttered by every Chick-fil-A associate across the world will soon be heard in the Green Bay area for the first time.
The restaurant is bringing around 150 full and part-time jobs to the area as Sonia Choi leads the franchise as owner/operator of Chick-fil-A Green Bay.
Located in Ashwaubenon next to Bay Park Square Mall, the chain’s famous chicken sandwiches and biscuits will hit customers’ mouths at 8:00 a.m., with food bein served until 10:00 p.m. Per company policy, stores are closed every Sunday.
For those who have never tried Chick-fil-A, what are some menu items that may be new experiences? Chick-n-Minis take fried chicken nuggets and place them inside fresh rolls, served on the breakfast menu. Also, instead of standard string French fries, large waffle-cut fries are served.
To celebrate the opening, the store will surprise 100 local heroes making an impact in the Green bay area by providing them free Chick-fil-A for a year. They also plan to donate $25,000 to Feeding America, an organization that distributes funds in the Green Bay area with the aim of fighting hunger.
The new Green Bay Chick-fil-A will take advantage of multi-lane drive-thru as well as contactless ordering and payment online. Dine-in and carry-out options will be offered at a later date.
