The season for the Wisconsin men’s basketball program hangs on just how serious Johnny Davis’ injury is.
Davis was knocked out of the action with about six minutes left Sunday after taking an elbow to the face, then having a Nebraska player land on him – hard.
Davis was driving to the basket when the flagrant foul happened.
Head coach Greg Gard says he is optimistic the sophomore will come back from the injury to his right leg.
He has a few days as the Badgers don’t play in the Big Ten Conference Tournament until Friday.
