
A Green Bay man accused of killing and burning the body of another man will be going to trial in April.
33-year-old Pedro Santiago-Marquez entered a plea of not guilty to charges of 1st Degree Intentional Homicide and Mutilating a Corpse yesterday and will see his jury trial begin on April 18th.
Santiago-Marquez is accused of killing 36-year-old Jason Mendez-Ramos in September and then dumping his body near the UW Green Bay campus.
He, and two others, then reportedly set the body on fire in an attempt to conceal their crime.
Alexander Burgos-Mojica was also arrested and charged with Harboring or Aiding a Felon, while Jeisaac Rodriguez-Garcia is charged with Mutilating a Corpse as Party to the Crime.
