Despite the disappointing loss to Ohio State in the semifinal game of the WCHA Final Faceoff, the Badgers women’s hockey team was never in any real danger of being left at home.
Wisconsin finished its regular season with an overall record of 25-7-4.
The Badgers will take on Clarkson Thursday night in the regional semifinals at 6:00 p.m.
The 2022 NCAA Women’s Frozen Four will be played in University Park, Pennsylvania.
The top four seeds in the 11-team tournament are Ohio State, Minnesota, Northeastern, and Colgate.
Wisconsin was chosen as an at-large entry.
