Volunteers from the organization Wisconsin Ukrainians spent their Saturday preparing items to send to Ukraine.
They spent the past week collecting items meant for doctors, soldiers as well as civilians, including items like boots, cold-weather clothes, blankets, and other items to allow Ukrainians to work their way out of the country or to stay in shelters.
The items were packed into a truck in Green Bay on Saturday morning with the first truck heading to Chicago today before being flown to Poland to make its commute to Ukraine.
