
Two Wisconsin women’s hockey standouts have been named finalists for the 2022 Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award.
Daryl Watts is on the list for the fourth straight time after winning the award as a freshman.
Casey O’Brien is a first-time finalist for the top individual award in women’s collegiate hockey.
Watts ranks second in the country in scoring with 56 points on 27 goals and 29 assists.
O’Brien is fifth with 54 points on 26 goals and 28 assists.
U-W has had five players win the prestigious award; the latest was goaltender Ann-Renee Desbiens in 2017.
Watts and O’Brien will lead the Badgers into Saturday’s WCHA Final Faceoff against Ohio State at 4:00 p.m.
