For nearly 50 years, Ag Day has celebrated the importance of American agriculture. Registration is now open for the National Ag Day Virtual Celebration which will take place later this month.
The free event will be accessible online on March 22 at 10:00 a.m.
Its aim is to recognize the hard work and contributions of America’s agriculture.
Industry leaders will participate to demonstrate how they describe agriculture to be growing a “climate for tomorrow.”
The virtual celebration will feature an on-farm sustainability story, Ag Day essay winners, details on grassroots efforts, tributes to agriculture, and more to celebrate the industry.
Haden Coleman’s winning essay describes the purpose of Ag Day by describing his goals as a future producer, saying, “I am hoping to be one of those individuals who can make a difference in the industry and make a difference in the health and well-being of the people around me.”
