
Detroit Mercy showed no mercy last night as they defeated UW Green Bay 79-62, eliminating the Phoenix from the Horizon League Tournament.
The Titans jumped out to a 12-point lead at the half and coasted the rest of the way to advance to the second round.
Kamari McGee led the Phoenix with 20 points and got 10 points worth of help from Emmanuel Ansong.
The Phoenix disappointing season comes to an end, with a record of 5-25.
The women meanwhile are back in action tomorrow as they take on the UW-Milwaukee Panthers at the Kress Center.
The Phoenix enter the tournament as the 3 seed, while the Panthers dominated the University of Illinois Chicago 55-46.
