Three threats in two days have resulted in tighter security at Madison’s Memorial High School.
After a bomb threat forced a Monday evacuation the school was put on hold Tuesday morning when a 911 caller reported a weapon was in a backpack.
Officers quickly determined the 9:15 a.m. report was false, then, four-and-a-half hours later a caller said there was a bomb in the school’s parking lot.
Bomb-sniffing dogs searched the campus but nothing was found and the scene was cleared at about 3:30 p.m.
