A Manitowoc man has been sentenced in a case from last year where he attempted to run over a man with his car.
45-year-old Shannen Lee Bratz was found guilty due to a no-contest plea on charges of 1st Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, Armed Robbery, Felony Bail Jumping, and Disorderly Conduct with Use of a Dangerous Weapon, while nine other charges were dismissed but read into the record.
Judge Mark Rohrer has sentenced Bratz to 270 days in jail, although he has received credit for 127 days served, as well as three years’ probation, and was ordered to pay $355.00 in court fines.
Bratz was arrested in October of last year after he attempted to run over a man on Clermont Street, and hit the same man with a metal flashlight.
Bratz was also found to be in possession of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and several knives.
