There will be a brief outage of non-emergency police phone lines today in Manitowoc County.
According to Emergency Services Director Travis Waack, the outage will go from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. as crews will be updating the phone system.
Those who will need to call the non-emergency line should call 920-683-4210 to reach the Sheriff’s Department, the Kiel Police Department, or any Village Police Department.
In Manitowoc, that number will be 920-683-5143, and for the Two Rivers Police Department, citizens can call 920-683-5075.
It should be noted that this outage will not affect the 911 service in the County.
