The Wisconsin women’s hockey team has advanced to the W.C.H.A. Final Faceoff for a 12th straight season.
The Badgers swept Bemidji State with a 5-0 shutout victory Saturday.
Casey O’Brien had a big series with a pair of goals and three assists.
Nicole LaMantia, Daryl Watts, and Makenna Webster also found the back of the net against the Bulldogs.
Kennedy Blair stopped 15 shots for her seventh shutout of the season.
With 296 total points, Watts is seven away from matching the N.C.A.A. record for career points.
The Badgers take off Ohio State Saturday at Ridder Arena.
The championship game is next Sunday afternoon.
