
Manitowoc Lincoln is sending its’ Girls Gymnastics Team to State next weekend.
The Ships will be packing their bags for Wisconsin Rapids by virtue of their 2nd place finish at Saturday’s WIAA Sectional Meet held at JFK Fieldhouse.
The Hartford Orioles are the team champions with a top score of 139.25, 6 points better than runner-up Manitowoc’s 133.25.
The remaining six schools that finished out of the running are in order: Watertown, Stevens Point, Wisconsin Rapids, Sheboygan, Oshkosh and Kaukauna.
Ships Coach Jacque Bartow also tells us her squad will have 2 gymnasts competing as Individual Qualifiers.
They are Ashley Block who was 2nd on Beam and 5th in the All-Around, as well as Jenna Miller, 4th on Bars.
The Division-1 portion of the WIAA State Gymnastics Tournament is Saturday, March 5th at Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln High School.
