A 23-year-old gunman who started shooting inside the Milwaukee Police Department District 5 headquarters Friday is expected to survive.
The accused shooter’s name hasn’t been released.
Investigators say seven officers exchanged fire with the suspect inside the police station and outside where they were chasing him.
It isn’t known if the shooting is connected to the death of 20-year-old Keishon Thomas in custody at that same police station last week.
