There’s just one game on the local and area high school basketball schedule tonight. And, it’s an ‘early’ start at the Manitowoc Lincoln boys host Hortonville from the FVA in a makeup game from last week’s ice storm.
The varsity game will start at 6:00 in the JFK Fieldhouse as the Ships try to even their record at 12-and-12, ahead of the Regional tournament.
Athletic Director Dave Steavpack says because there’s only one game between the two schools, they won’t sell tickets, but will rather ask all who attend to donate two canned goods or a boxed good for Peter’s Pantry.
Tonight at halftime, Lincoln High School will be recognizing Gryffin Jonas, the senior wrestler who took 5th place at the WIAA State Wrestling Meet, along with members of the Ships Girls Gymnastics team for qualifying for State in Saturday’s Sectional.
