It was a great day for UW Green Bay Basketball on Saturday, as both the men and women closed out their regular seasons with wins.
The men picked up a 67-41 win over IUPUI to end the season at 5-24 and 4-16 in Horizon League matchups.
The women meanwhile used a 26-point night from Hailey Oskey to win their final regular-season game 66-64, and improve to 18-6, and 14-4 in the Horizon League.
Now, both teams will look to ride that success in their respective Horizon League Tournaments.
The men received the 11 seed and will take on the 6 seed, Detroit Mercy tomorrow in Detroit.
The Phoenix won the only matchup this season between the two teams, 70-63.
The women meanwhile are 3rd overall, three games behind IUPUI and Youngstown State who are tied for the top spot.
UWGB earned a first-round bye and will learn who they will take on Thursday after tomorrow’s matchups, which includes UW Milwaukee taking on UIC at the Panther Arena at 7:00 p.m.
