A discount store in Mishicot is looking to help the Lakeshore Humane Society.
According to the store’s Assistant Manager DoriLee Chase, the Dollar General store in Mishicot is in the midst of a collection effort for the local animal shelter.
There is a donation box set up in their entryway for people to drop off needed items including dog, cat, puppy, and kitten food, cat litter, pet bedding, and cleaning supplies.
They are accepting monetary donations, which can be given to the cashier.
Chase said, “Any donation big or small is greatly appreciated as for various reasons the Lakeshore Humane Society means quite a bit to myself as well as the store Manager Theresa Stewart.”
