The violent crime problem continued in Green Bay early this morning.
The Green Bay Police Department is investigating a report of shots being fired in the area of Minahan and North Locust Streets near Perkins Park.
Officers were informed of the situation at around 3:20 this morning.
Their initial investigation has uncovered an unspecified number of shell casings, but no injuries were reported.
The investigation continues, and no additional information was released.
