The UW Green Bay Women’s basketball team win streak is over.
After winning 10 in a row, the Phoenix fell to the UW Milwaukee Panthers last night 50-48.
It was simply an off night for the Phoenix, as they only went 5 for 15 from beyond the arc, and 5 for 9 from the free-throw line.
Nothing was falling for them, as they also shot 35% from the floor.
Senior Meghan Pingel was the leading scorer for Green Bay with 9 points, while Milwaukee’s Emma Wittmershaus accounted for 20 of her team’s points.
The Phoenix have a couple of days to recover before they travel to Indiana to take on Purdue Fort Wayne on Thursday.
A previous contest between the teams was deemed a no contest back in January.
