The home sale numbers in Manitowoc County are up compared to last year.
According to the Wisconsin Realtors Association, there were 74 homes sold in January, which is nearly 30% more than the 57 sold during the same month last year.
Those homes are also selling for 10% more than they were last year.
This January’s average price was $145,500, while last year the average price was $132,000.
The homes are also spending less time on the market.
This past month, homes were on the market for an average of 67 days, compared to 82 days last year.
The state numbers weren’t quite as positive.
The number of sales was down 4.2% to 4,578, while the average price went up 10% to $231,000.
The average days on the market did go down 6.7% to 84.
