An armed robbery reportedly took place in Sheboygan after a taxi driver dropped off their passengers.
The driver dropped off a male and female passenger before the male passenger allegedly flashed his gun and demanded money, according to a report from Sheboygan police.
The incident occurred on Monday night, shortly before 9:00 p.m.
Once the driver forfeited the money, both passengers fled the scene. Police obtained a search warrant at the location of both suspects, leading to the arrest of a 20-year-old Milwaukee man and a 21-year-old Sheboygan woman. The report also states that police obtained the firearm allegedly used in the incident.
The male is facing charges of armed robbery, possession of stolen property and being a felon in possession of a firearm. The female suspect faces charges of armed robbery party to a crime.
