Nearly five months after a vehicle struck the braces on a bridge in Sturgeon Bay, workers will finally begin the repair work.
A truck carrying a heavy load struck the bridge on October 6th, causing damage to several areas of the structure.
Crews inspected the bridge and determined it was safe to use.
Now a repair project has been planned to start next week Monday.
The project is expected to last through March 11th, with traffic being rerouted onto the Oregon/Maple, and Bayview Bridges.
