One of the most popular bands to come from Eastern Wisconsin is calling it quits.
Vic Ferrari has been entertaining music lovers all over the world for the past 35 years but have decided that their last show will be at the end of October.
The band began in Calumet County as a group of guys who just wanted to play rock and roll and make audiences happy for a few hours.
Along the way, it did just that and blossomed into a full-fledged force in local and regional music.
In a statement, the group said, “Vic Ferrari extend their heartfelt thanks and an open invitation to see them one or even a few last times this spring, summer, and fall, including at its spectacular Symphony on the Rocks concerts. There is still happiness and rock and roll yet to provide!”
Their ever-popular Symphony on the Rocks show is scheduled for March 19th at the Capitol Civic Center in Manitowoc.
