The UW Green Bay Women’s Basketball team not only picked up their 10th win in a row this weekend, but they did it against the last team they lost to.
The Phoenix defeated IUPUI at the Kress Center on Saturday 71-56.
Hailey Oskey was again a dominant force, as she drained three 3s en route to a 16-point night, which was matched by Luxemburg-Casco graduate, Redshirt Freshman Cassie Schiltz.
The Phoenix remain in second place in the Horizon League Standings, behind only Youngstown State, and one spot ahead of the Jaguars.
The UWGB men did not have as good of a weekend, as they fell to Cleveland State 79-67 yesterday. Cade Meyer had a big night, scoring 20 points, while Kamari McGee contributed 16.
The Phoenix have now lost 10 in a row and fall to 4-23 with two games to go.
The women are back in action tonight as they begin a three-game road series to close out their season.
They will be in Milwaukee taking on the Panthers at 7:00 p.m.
The men meanwhile are off until Thursday, when they travel to Chicago to take on the UIC Flames.
