There is only one meeting scheduled for today in the City of Two Rivers.
The City Council will gather at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, where they will start with a moment of silence in remembrance of Zachary Benson, the Two Rivers High School Student who passed away earlier this month.
They will then hold two public hearings. One regarding a pedestrian walkway located in the Sandy Bay Highlands, and another to amend the official map.
Then, City Manager Greg Buckley will give some staffing updates, namely the appointment of a new Water Utility Director and City Electrician, as well as their recruitment efforts to fill several other positions.
The Council will also enter a closed session, where they will consider financial assistance for the residential development project at 3000 Forest Avenue, which would be provided through TID 15, and some assistance for an unspecified redevelopment project.
This is the only meeting on the agenda for this week in the Cool City.
