
A Manitowoc man was arrested for his 7th OWI over the weekend.
According to the police report, an officer noticed a vehicle driving without its headlights on just after 2:15 Sunday morning.
The vehicle was pulled over in the 1100 block of South 10th Street.
The officer noted that when he spoke with the driver that he did not respond to the officer, and had droopy, bloodshot, watery eyes. The officer also smelled intoxicants in the vehicle.
The man could not find his driver’s license and admitted to drinking.
It was determined that the man had a revoked driver’s license and six previous OWI offenses.
The man refused to perform a field sobriety test and was arrested.
Several empty beer cans were found in the vehicle. The 37-year-old man was charged with his 7th Offence OWI.
