A Horicon man faces a half-dozen counts – including homicide by vehicle – for a 2021 fatal crash. Forty-seven-year-old Daniel Bryfczynski was driving a pickup truck pulling a boat in the town of Oak Grove last June when it crossed the centerline and hit an oncoming car.
Bryfczynski told investigators he fell asleep. A 50-year-old woman in the car was killed and a 12-year-old girl suffered serious injuries. Bryfczynski admitted he had smoked marijuana about three hours before the wreck.
He is scheduled to make a court appearance to face the charges next month.
