A St. Paul man will spend 10 years in federal prison for dealing drugs in northwestern Wisconsin.
29-year-old David Stone the Third had pleaded guilty.
Prosecutors said he was selling heroin, meth, and fentanyl in 2019 and 2020.
He was accused of orchestrating a large-scale drug trafficking operation at the same time he was in jail on an unrelated matter.
Investigators listened in on more than 3,000 hours of telephone calls Stone made from jail.
They say he would call his source in Minnesota to arrange the sales and co-conspirators in Wisconsin would pick the drugs up.
