Prosecutors in Brown County say criminal charges could still be filed in a double-fatal wreck, but one ticket has been dismissed.
Marcus Walker is accused of running a stop sign last October in New Denmark, causing a wreck that left 42-year-old Jamie Lee Cain and 41-year-old Katherine Mae Rathie-Dunn dead.
A citation was issued for OWI and the Brown County Sheriff’s Office asked for criminal charges. Walker’s attorney pointed out at his first court hearing that her client’s blood alcohol content was well below the legal limit.
