The Milwaukee Brewers are asking for improvements to American Family Field after playing in the stadium for 20 years, but it’s not clear who pays.
The five-county sales tax backing the park’s construction bonds ended two years ago.
Now, it’s starting to show its age.
The team says it needs upgrades to its climate controls like heating and air conditioning.
Brewers ownership says the improvements needed could cost more than the $87 million now in the reserve fund.
A report is supposed to be released this summer.
