Major League Baseball and representatives of the players’ union are scheduled to meet in New York City this afternoon for their sixth bargaining session.
The meeting is set for noon Central time.
The session comes just five days after the last meeting when little progress was made.
Players have been locked out for 76 days.
Spring training was to have started this week.
If there is no final Collective Bargaining Agreement by the end of the month it is likely the regular season will be delayed.
