
Marquette completed a season sweep of the Georgetown Hoyas with a 77-66 win at home Wednesday night.
The teams were tied at 23 points apiece in the first half when the Golden Eagles (17-and-9, 9-and-6 Big East) scored 11 straight.
Senior Kur Kuath was seven-for-seven from the floor, scoring 15 points, and blocked four shots.
Freshman Kam Jones scored 17 of his 19 points in the first half while hitting five 3-pointers, and Tyler Kolek had a career-high 11 assists.
Georgetown was held to 29-percent shooting as its losing streak reached 15 in a row.
Marquette’s next action is on the road at Creighton Sunday.
