Following the Spring Primary yesterday, we now know who will be on the ballot in April.
In Manitowoc, the race to be on the School Board was very close.
Matthew Phipps received the highest vote count at 2,264. He was followed by Tony Vlastelica, Matthew Spaulding, and incumbents Dave Nickels, Lisa Johnston, and Meredith Sauer.
There was only a 266-vote difference between the 1st and 6th place finishers, while Christopher Able was eliminated, only receiving 713 votes.
Meanwhile in Kiel, the results looked similar, with challengers Diana Sitzman Schafer, Jamie Henschel, and Mike Joas getting the most votes, while incumbents Dan Dietrich, Tony Johannes, and Philip Schafer rounding out the top six.
It should be noted that the results are not official until the Board of Canvassers gathers to count the votes.
The MPSD Board of Canvassers will meet at 9:00 this morning.
