The Dane County District Attorney’s Office has determined that a Madison police officer who accidentally shot another officer won’t be charged.
The incident happened during an arrest on November 8th.
Officer Keith Brown is expected to return to patrol soon.
The other officer’s name hasn’t been released but he is recovering.
The department’s Professional Standards and Internal Affairs Section reviewed the shooting saying no violations of operating procedures or its code of conduct were found.
