The Door County Sheriff’s Office has identified the man who died while in jail last week.
The man was identified as 54-year-old Michael J. Savage of Sturgeon Bay.
Details of what led to his death have not been released, however, an autopsy was conducted by the Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office on Monday.
Toxicology results are still pending, and the autopsy results are not known at this time.
