Today is the day of the Spring Primary Election, and the ballot is rather short in Manitowoc.
Voters will choose between seven candidates to be on the Manitowoc Public School District’s Board of Education.
Dave Nickels, Lisa Johnston, and Meredith Sauer are looking to retain their seats, while Matthew Spaulding, Tony Vlastelica, Matthew Phipps, and Christopher Able are looking to join the board.
The top six vote-getters will advance to the April 5th, General Election.
Seehafer News recently highlighted all seven candidates by asking them each five questions. You can read their responses by clicking here.
It should be noted that all voters in Wisconsin are required to present a valid ID in order to vote.
Acceptable forms of ID include a valid Wisconsin driver’s license, Wisconsin state ID, U.S. passport, U.S. Uniformed Services card, Veterans Affairs ID, tribal ID, or Certificate of Naturalization.
