A 74-year-old New Holstein man is dead following a car crash in Brown County yesterday.
The yet unidentified man was reportedly driving south on I-43 near Glenmore Road in the Village of Ledgeview at around 6:30 a.m. when he came to a stop near the right lane of traffic.
He was then rear-ended by a truck, sending his vehicle into the center median.
The man was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the pickup truck, only identified as a 28-year-old Green Bay area man, was uninjured.
The incident is under investigation, and at this time it is not clear why the New Holstein man was stopped on the interstate.
