The Sheboygan Area School District is selling a 26-acre plot of land and has heard a couple of proposals from prospective buyers.
The land is located on the west side of the city, more specifically on North Taylor Drive between Saemann and Geele Avenues near St. Nicholas Hospital.
The two proposals were submitted by North Taylor Development LLC and Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin.
North Taylor Developments was looking to construct an Angelus Senior Living community, similar to the one located on Bayshore Drive in Manitowoc, as well as a commercial health care development.
Froedtert proposed an 18,000 square foot community hospital and a 154-unit senior housing facility.
No decision was made by the School District regarding whom they will be signing on the dotted line.
