
The Thursday night high school boy’s basketball schedule includes a full slate of games in the Eastern Wisconsin Conference.
Roncalli and Brillion are tied for 1st place with a 9-and-1 record entering tonight’s play, while Kiel sits alone in 2nd at 8-and-2, and Valders which has won 5 of its’ last 6 games is 3rd in the standings with a mark of 7-and-3.
The EWC card finds Two Rivers at Roncalli, Valders is on the road to meet Kiel, Chilton goes to Brillion, and Sheboygan Falls invades New Holstein.
WOMT will have the Jets and Raiders from the hangar on 107.9 FM and at www.WOMTRadio.com. The tipoff is at 7:00 p.m.
Other area Boys games this evening include Denmark at Wrightstown, Winneconne visits Plymouth, Kewaunee is on the road for Oconto, Algoma is at Sevastopol and St. Lawrence Seminary goes to Stockbridge.
There are also two intriguing matchups tonight in the Big East Conference girls basketball race.
One is at Manitowoc Lutheran where the Lancers look to put an end to St. Mary Catholic’s 15-game winning streak when they host the Zephyrs.
St. Mary’s dropped its’ first league game to Mishicot and hasn’t lost since.
SMC brings a 20-and-1 record to Lancer Circle, and holds a game-and-a-half lead on the Indians with 3-games left in the regular season.
The Lancers are 13-and-8.
