
Green Bay City Council’s Finance Committee in has approved spending federal dollars from the American Rescue Act for infrastructure projects.
It will be up to the full council to approve the expenditure.
$1 million would be used to add stormwater retention ponds at Seymour Park which would be aimed at stopping the flooding problem for a nearby neighborhood.
City staff is still working out the design details.
The ARPA funds would also go toward police body cameras, tasers, and squad dash cams.
