There are two meetings on the agenda today in Manitowoc.
The Board of Public Works will start things off at 4:00 PM in the Council Chambers, where they will look over bids for a water main extension project south of Viebahn Street.
They will also discuss an agreement with STS Trucking for the removal of ash trees in Lincoln Park.
Then at 5:00 PM, the Room Tax Commission will occupy the Council Chambers where they will immediately enter a closed session.
In that session, the Commission will discuss and possibly take action on the hiring of a Director of Tourism.
After reconvening in an open session, the group will discuss the 2022 Room Tax Budget and will discuss the future visitor center.
