The UW Green Bay woman’s basketball team has now won six in a row following a decisive win over UW Milwaukee 65-56.
The Phoenix and Panthers were tied at the half, but a big 4th quarter secured the win for UWGB.
A big reason for the win is UWGB’s precision on free throws.
The Phoenix went 17-23 at the charity stripe, while the Panthers made seven of their twelve chances.
Once again, Haley Oskey topped the score sheet, along with Bailey Butler, who each scored 14 points.
The Phoenix’s next highest scorer was Meghan Pingel, who accounted for 11 points, including two buckets from beyond the arc.
The Phoenix are on the road this Thursday as they take on Oakland.
