Additional details have been released regarding a weekend shooting in Manitowoc.
The police report, which was released this morning, indicates that officers were called to the 700 block of South 16th Street on Sunday and located four spent shell casings on the south end of the block.
These casings were the size and shape of those used with a high-powered rifle.
Two additional shell casings were found on the north end of the block and belonged to a 9mm handgun.
Officers viewed video surveillance which showed a Nissan Ultima flee from the area of the shooting, which eventually led them to a suspect.
The investigators spoke with the mother of the 18-year-old man, who said that her son admitted to being involved with the skirmish.
She said her son claimed to have fired his weapon in response to being fired at first.
The man is facing charges of Reckless Endangerment with Use of a Dangerous Weapon, and Felony Bail Jumping.
