Gas prices took a massive leap over last week in Eastern Wisconsin.
According to the AAA Gas Prices webpage, the average price per gallon of fuel in Manitowoc County rose 10 cents from last week up to $3.18.
There was a 12-cent jump in Sheboygan and Outagamie Counties, where the average now sits at $3.20 and $3.10 respectively, while Calumet County saw a 13-cent increase to $3.12.
Kewaunee and Door Counties each reported an 11-cent jump to $3.22 and $3.25 respectively, and Brown County motorists are paying 7 cents more on average at the pump, which equates to $3.21 per gallon.
The state average also increased by 9 cents per gallon to $3.20, and the national average rose 8 cents to $3.44.
This marks the first time since the second week in December where every single Eastern Wisconsin County is over $3.00 per gallon and is the highest price Manitowoc County has seen since the second week in November.
Over the last six months, Manitowoc County has averaged $3.06 per gallon of gas.
