Multiple sources are reporting the Major League Baseball owners will meet in Orlando this week to decide what their next move needs to be in the negotiations over the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
There is no deal with the players yet and time is growing short.
The 2022 regular season is still scheduled to start on March 31st.
Pitchers and catchers were originally supposed to report to spring training early next week, but that appears unlikely right now.
Players have been locked out since December 2nd.
The players have given up their request for earlier free agency but the owners haven’t made any move toward settlement at all.
