A Brown County man has been arrested on child porn charges.
19-year-old Tyler Berna garnered the attention of the Brown County Sheriff’s Office after they received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children last year.
A search of Berna’s cellphone revealed ten videos of children as young as 2 or 3 years old, which authorities described as being “extremely aggravating and sexually explicit in nature.”
Berna told investigators that he got the videos from an anonymous individual, and then sold them online.
He also said that he didn’t mean any harm, he just “was trying to make money.”
Berna does not qualify for a public defender and is due back in court in March.
