Officers from the Manitowoc Police Department responded yesterday (Tuesday) to a disturbance reported near Lincoln High School.
Lt. Mark Schroeder says that a female juvenile was breaking a vehicle window in the 1400 block of South 9th Street adjacent to the school, where it was later determined that a verbal altercation had occurred between multiple juveniles.
The suspect went to a local residence, retrieved a hatchet, and damaged the vehicle’s windows. No violation or disturbance occurred inside Lincoln High School; however, it was placed on secure as a precaution by school administration.
Multiple charges have been referred to The Human Services Department and her name has not been released.
