William P. Tadych, age 74, of Two Rivers, passed away on Friday evening, January 28, 2022 at Harbor View Assisted Living of Manitowoc.
William was born on October 12, 1947 in Two Rivers, son of the late Andrew and Ruth (Schramm) Tadych. He graduated with the class of 1966 from Lutheran High School. On July 8, 1967 William married the former Judy Wells at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Two Rivers. The couple owned and operated Tex & Judy’s Tavern for 19 years. William was a member of the February Club where he served as president for many years and the Manitowoc County Tavern League where he also served as president for many years.
Survivors include his wife: Judy Tadych, Two Rivers; three sons and one daughter-in-law: Jamie (Karen) Tadych, Two Rivers, Ryan Tadych and special friend Kathy Her, Two Rivers, Chad Tadych and special friend, Andrea Vath, Neenah; three grandchildren: Bracken (Maggie) Tadych, Haley Tadych and special friend Cody Mudgett, Kevin (Niki) Allie; three great-granddaughters: Finnleigh Tadych, Leighton and Landyn Allie; one brother-in-law: Paul Lyons, Two Rivers; other relatives, friends and family also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents: Andrew and Ruth Tadych; one great-grandson: Trevor Young; one sister-in-law: Evie Lyons.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 3, 2022, at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church, 3607 45th Street, Two Rivers. The Rev. Steve Kruschel will officiate with burial to follow in Forest View Cemetery, Two Rivers. Relatives and friends may call on Thursday at the church from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM.
